- The primary focus of this position is to manage the Utilities safety, security programs and emergency preparedness.
- The successful candidate will be expected to: conduct facility audits and field inspections, investigate accidents/incidents, report tracking, provide document and data review, apply for grants, coordinate safety and emergency response plan revisions, conduct staff training, and prepare educational literature and presentations throughout the year.
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Chemistry, Engineering, or Science related degree a plus.
- Safety certifications from either American Society of Safety Engineers (ASP/CSP) or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician), is a plus.
- The defined benefit pension plan is based on the average of the last three base salary years times 3% times years of service.
