- The Northwell Health Transplant Institute boasts one of the fastest growing kidney transplant programs in the country which services Long Island and the NY metropolitan area.
- The transplant nephrologist will be joining a team of 4 transplant nephrologists and a faculty of over 20 general nephrologists and a long-standing general nephrology fellowship program.
- The division is well known for its expertise in clinical research in kidney transplantation, dialysis, anemia and hyperkalemia, outcomes research, COVID-related AKI, onconephrology and glomerular diseases.
- North Shore University Hospital is academically affiliated with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
