- Provide legal counsel and support to clients on supply chain and transportation contracts, including drafting and negotiating agreements for procurement, transportation services, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance matters related to transportation and logistics, including federal transportation regulations, import/export controls, environmental regulations, customs laws, and international trade regulations.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on supply chain, transportation, procurement, or logistics law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department setting.
- Strong knowledge of U.S., transportation laws and regulations, and international laws and regulations relevant to supply chain management, including the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Incoterms, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
- Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in supply chain and transportation, such as blockchain and e-commerce logistics, and specifically within the electric vehicle sector, such as battery technology, charging infrastructure, autonomous driving technology, federal motor vehicle safety standards (FMVSS), emissions regulations, and environmental requirements.
