Works under minimal direction. </li><li>Support and confirmation of fracture assessments for service life requirements. </li><li>Strength analysis will include interpretation of vehicle loads and environments, stress calculations and development of margins of safety with known allowables. </li><li>Observance of program standards and requirements to insure structural integrity, and documentation of stress reports. </li><li>Plans and organizes structural analysis work at the program level to assure total compliance with structural integrity and stability requirements. </li><li>Develops, integrates and documents complex or unique structural requirements to establish the system design. </li><li>Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment. </li><li>Support and confirmation of fracture assessments for service life requirements. </li></ul>Level 4 Required Skills <ul><li>Bachelor’s in engineering </li><li>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor). </li><li>9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD + 4 years of related work experience, Master + 7 years of related work experience). </li><li>In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. </li><li>Must have some previous background in aerospace industry (ideally airframe/aircraft experience) </li><li>FEA analysis, hand calculations, hand analysis, stress analysis, structural analyst, PATRAN, NASTRAN, Bruhn, stress report writing, Abaqus </li><li>Internal tools (if they have previous Boeing experience): IAS, CSW </li></ul>Desired Skills <ul><li>Experience with Aerospace Structural hardware and Finite Element Method (FEM). </li><li>Excellent strength reporting writing skills. </li><li>Finite Element Analysis (FEA) including NASTRAN. </li><li>Some experience with launch vehicle structures. </li><li>ITAR Definition </li></ul>Under <ul><li>120.14 of the ITAR a U.S. person is defined as a person who is a lawful permanent resident of the United States.
