- We continue to focus our efforts on three key “levers” for human capital reform: 1) Recruit & Cultivate, 2) Hire Early, and 3) Develop and Retain.
- Position Overview The BPS Retention Team is seeking skilled and dedicated district educators to aid the BPS Retention efforts, promoting the district in an inspiring and realistic way, and emphasizing the district's commitment to diversity.
- The purpose of BPS Retention Assistant will be to support the Director of Recruitment and the Retention Specialist in developing and implementing strategies to retain educators of color in BPS. Retention Aids will work collaboratively with the Retention Team, school staff, district leaders and the local community to promote an equitable, inclusive and supportive work environment.
- Retention Aids will also help in district-wide retention and cultivation events such as Early Hiring Pool pre-screening for both Academic and Academic Support pools, teacher career fairs, interview/ demo lesson workshops, networking and informational events, webinars, panels, one on one or small group workshops in order to build community and cultivate future educators for Boston Public Schools.
