- Analyze current and proposed legislation to determine potential impact on CCRC. Advocate for policy positions and actively influence on behalf of the CCRCs interests
- Lead CCRC policy and advocacy efforts on engagement and education strategy related to its ECE, family well-being, community and other whole child and family initiatives
- Integrate research and policy information into briefing documents, white papers, social media, newsletter, and other public relations documents to lift up the needs of children, families and child care providers aligning with CCRC Strategic Goals.
- Knowledge of public policy, legislation, and budget and legislative processes.
- We provide child development and early education, workforce development opportunities, child care financial assistance, Head Start preschool and Early Head Start services and more for close to 50,000 parents, children, and child care providers each month in Northern Los Angeles County, including Antelope Valley, and the entirety of San Bernardino County, including an office in Victorville, serving a total geographic area of 22,500 square miles.
