The Head Start Teacher Assistant provides care and education for children and their families in a child care setting, provides a supportive, safe, and stimulating learning environment and will be knowledgeable of Texas Minimum Standards for Licensing and Head Start Performance Standards.

The Environmental Health and Safety Manager is responsible for developing, monitoring, and evaluating environmental health and safety practices for the Head Start and Early Head Start Grantee.

Reports To: Head Start Health & Safety Specialist, Head Start Managers, Head Start Director, and EPIC AdministratorConditions of Employment: Recommended by the Head Start Director and EPIC Administrator; Confirmed by the EPIC Regional Council and Head Start Policy Council.

The Accounting Manager, Head Start Programs, with assistance from the Fiscal Officer, will assist and support the Director of Child Care and key Child Care staff in addition to provide all required information to successfully manage their department.

Head Start - CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) Specialist. Knowledge of Child and Adult Care Food Program Regulations, Child Care Licensing Regulations and Head Start Performance Standards; in addition to best practices related to education and early childhood development, staffing and program options.

Must follow BFTS, Quality Rated, Ga Pre-K, Head Start, and YMCA of Metro Atlanta rules and regulations in collaboration with the Early Learning leadership team. Maintain required documentation required by Head Start, BFTS, GA Pre-K, Quality Rated, YMCA of Metro Atlanta and any other governing agencies.

This position is responsible for the supervision of Head Start Assistant Director of Classroom Support, Regional Managers, Education Supervisor, and Professional Development Coordinator.

Comply with and utilize the Head Start Program Performance Standards, Head Start Act, State of Michigan Child Care Center Licensing Rules, the Early Childhood Standards of Quality for Pre-Kindergarten, GSRP Implementation Manual (GSRP funded), Great Start to Quality, Program Procedure Manual Guidance, 5 Year Grant, USDA/CACFP/MDE Requirements, and NMCAA Personnel Polices.

Reports To : Head Start Family and Community Engagement Coordinator. PURPOSE OF JOB : The HS Family Advocate supports families enrolled in the KCPS Head Start programs through recruitment, enrollment, family needs assessments, resource referral, and community partnerships.

Director's Credential will be used for purposes of DCF licensing, monitoring and VPK. All activities within this position are completed in accordance with agency's policy and procedures, federal, state and local laws, Head Start performance standards and the Head Start contract and accreditation standards.

The Health Specialist (HS) possesses significant knowledge in comprehensive mental health/health services to support our Head Start Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) team in Region IX. The Health Specialist (HS) provides TTA in all areas of health and safety, mental health and disabilities, comprehensive health services, and family engagement in health-related issues in accordance with the Head Start Program Performance Standards and other Federal Regulations.

The Caregiver works in a team situation to provide daily care to Head Start/Early Head Start children, such as, welcome children, assist with handwashing, changes diapers/ soiled clothes and/or potty training as needed.

Perform according to the standards set forth by Head Start, the NAEYC, CWLA, CACFP, USDA, Tennessee Day Care Licensing, and Porter-Leath while performing duties within the kitchen and classroom.

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Lead Cook prepares meals and snacks for enrollees in Early Learning, Pre-school, Pre-K, Head-start, Afterschool and Day Camp in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and Child and Adult Care Food Program and USDA guidelines.

In collaboration with a co-teacher, you will be responsible for the general, day-to-day operations of the Early Head Start classroom, verifying legal compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
