They formulate strategic plans and drive operational improvements through a team-based approach using LEAN and Six Sigma principles.STRATEGY AND EXECUTIONLead formulation of the LEAN strategic direction for Webcor Craft, using value stream analysis.Create and execute the organization’s LEAN operating plan.Establish and coordinate fiscal year LEAN targets & goals with senior leadership.Serve as primary champion for LEAN enterprise activities.Steward the improvement progress and deliverablesIdentify and aggressively remove barriers which hinder the progress of improvement efforts.Anticipate and mitigate risks through exceptionally strong influencing and negotiation skills.Research and coach others on best practices, innovations, and industry standard changes/updates.Lead the internal assessment and monitoring processes.Establish and maintain an effective sustainment model, incorporating system standards.DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSISProvide oversight and direction on value stream ROI calculations and scorecards.Ensure preparation and distribution of site performance metrics.Review daily metrics; identify trends and root cause of performance gaps.Datamine for and identify new high potential performance excellence opportunities.Present complex data/information in an understandable and compelling manner.Drive collaboration and facilitate data sharing with staff and leadership.TRAINING/CHANGE MANAGEMENTCoach team members, team leads and key stakeholders, on LEAN tools/principles, team facilitation, data, metrics, presentations, coaching, and project management.Identify root-cause of issues through tenacity and inquisitiveness, influencing others to achieve stretch targets.Lead LEAN, six sigma, leadership and change management training initiatives Work closely with leadership to achieve desired outcomes; coordinate and facilitate Performance Excellence Steering Committee meetings.Promote celebrations and constant visibility of LEAN initiatives progress at all levels.Develop and execute LEAN communication and training plans.Act as change agent; mentor others on change management skills and principles.Promote and establish a cooperative, innovative, and motivational work environment.LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS REQUIREDExcellent organizational skills required, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Must display ability to prioritize, plan and execute.Superior management skills are needed, with an emphasis on interpersonal communication and influencing others.Remains flexible and comfortable with ambiguity within a very demanding, constantly changing environment.Able to operate skillfully within all levels of the organization and lead in a team-oriented environment.Display sound judgment, tact, discretion, and ability to develop and sustain a cooperative working relationship with all levels of the organization.TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREDExperience coaching and leading Green Belts in the Lean Six Sigma methodology.Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPointTravel by car required 75% in SF Bay Area and up to 25% travel to Southern California. Therefore, a valid driver’s license is required.Spanish speaking proficiency is a plus.Experience with TopDeck AI or other similar AI platforms preferred.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related degree program required.Minimum (3) years’ experience – preferably in the construction industry.Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred) or Lean Construction Institute certification a plus!Range of base pay is $113,000-$146,000.
