- Lutheran Social Services CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence has been the sole resource for victims seeking shelter in Franklin County for more than four decades, providing a Temporary Emergency Shelter, 24-Hour Crisis Hotline, DV Counseling, Legal Advocacy, Peer Support Groups and more.
- What will I do as a Shelter Advocate with Lutheran Social Services?
- Provides communication, information, and supplies to residents as needed related to shelter services including bed assignments, locker assignments, towels, bedding, and self-care supplies.
- Provides information to clients on CHOICES and other services such as medical, dental and vision care, community resources and diversion services during absence or high-volume times.
- Backs up Admissions Specialists as needed on Crisis Hotline calls.
