- Assure the adequacy of policies, plans, directives, budgets, procedures and other appropriate media required to plan and implement Antiterrorism/Force Protection (ATFP) projects, tasks, and operating programs for carrying out emergency response missions in an emergency ATFP situation.
- Assist in mandatory training and briefings for OCONUS travel to low, medium, and high threat countries.
- Serve as State security monitor; encompassing Physical Security (PHYSEC), Antiterrorism (AT), Operations Security (OPSEC), ISOPREP, Visitor Control and other Security and Crime Prevention programs to ensure command compliance with all applicable Security Regulations.
- Represent the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations (DCSOPS)/ Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations (DCSOPS) at meetings, conferences, workshops, panels, etc., at NGB and other deferral agency levels as a state technical authority.
- Must obtain and maintain Top Secret Security Clearance.
