- Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385-bed acute-care hospital classified as a stroke receiving center and level 2 trauma facility with an innovative, patient centered and evidence-based Rehabilitation Services Department.
- Our compassionate team provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute care rehabilitation, joint replacement & spinal surgery, neurosurgery, ICU, Telemetry, step-down care, skilled nursing, as well as outpatient therapy, hand and lymphedema clinics.
- Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the RN communicates and collaborates closely with physicians and other members of the health care team to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds.
- Working with a high degree of autonomy, the RN accepts responsibility and accountability for assigned patients as a case manager to plan, implement and evaluate the care for all chronic wound patients.
- The RN works within the framework of the State Nurse Practice Act and follows all Paradigm (PMM), and Hospital policies and procedures.
