- The QAPI Risk Coordinator reports to and receives general direction from the Director of Nursing and is responsible for evaluating risks as a means to reduce injury to patients, staff members, and visitors within the center.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse License issued by the State.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a supervisor in long-term care setting and must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
- Advanced knowledge of quality improvement and risk management principles.
- Knowledge of local, regional, federal and state specific regulations for skilled and assisted living centers.
