- The Psychiatry and Neuroscience Lab (PyNeL) aims to better understand the neurobiological, cognitive, and social dysfunctions of schizophrenia and other major psychiatric disorders using MRI, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and high density (hd)-EEG during sleep and wakefulness.
- In this position, you will be participating in a number of clinical research activities, including performing high-density (hd)-EEG as well as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) with simultaneous hd-EEG, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in psychiatric patients and in healthy controls.
- This will involve training to run TMS-EEG and TBS studies as well as running sleep studies.
- These studies ate part of NIMH-funded grants investigating the neural mechanisms and circuits underlying cognitive deficits in individuals diagnosed with psychotic disorders.
- To accommodate the needs of our participants, this position requires flexibility to work variable hours, including during the daytime, evening and/or weekend.
