Our RNs provide routine and complex patient care in a clinic and skilled care setting. Experienced professionals and new graduates are encouraged to apply. We offer 8-hour shifts for both full-time and part time-positions. Applicants must be able to work the first seven weeks of training on AM and PM shifts. Upon completion of training, employees will be scheduled to work every other weekend on a weekly rotating AM (6:30 am - 3:00 pm) and PM (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm) shift or straight NOC (10:30 pm - 7:00 am) shifts.. Additionally, applicants must be able to work more than 8 hours in a day (up to 15.5 hours), more than 40 hours in a week, and holidays as needed. New nurses are provided one-to-one orientation designed to meet individual learning needs. An opportunity to work side-by-side with experienced nurses is also provided. WMHI does accept the Nursing Temporary Permit license offered through the Department of Safety & Professional Services. Duties As an RN, you will use the nursing process to implement nursing interventions in basic and complex patient situations at WMHI. Duties include, but are not limited to: <ul><li> Completing daily nursing assessments, responding to medical emergencies, administering medications and working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of medical care.</li><li> Overseeing and providing guidance to other nursing staff (CNAs), assuring patient health and safety needs are met. </li></ul>Starting salary is between $40.79 and $47.21/hour (approximately $84,800 and $98,200 annually for full-time employment), based on years of licensure. Additional increases are based on years of licensure in the chart below. Years of Licensure Pay Rate 0 $40.79 3 $42.88 5 $43.96 7 $45.04 9 $46.13 11 $47.21 <ul><li>$1.40/hour differential for 1st shift RNs that work hours between 6pm and 6am.</li><li>$1.40/hour plus $2.50/hour for a total of $3.90/hour differential for 2nd or 3rd shift RNs for work hours between 6pm to 6am.</li><li>A $3.00 /hour temporary add-on will be paid for hours worked Saturday and Sunday.</li><li>$0.80/hour weekend differential applies to worked shifts.</li><li>A $2,000 sign-on bonus applies to those with no prior state service in the last five years; who stay with the facility in the position until completing probation. Bonus will be split, $1000 upon hire and $1000 after completing probation. </li><li>A 12-month probationary period is required. All appointees will be required to receive a TB screen prior to their start date. Minimally Qualified Applicants Will Have Both Of The Following <ul><li>Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Wisconsin by the employee's start date.
