- MAAC employs dedicated staff who provide life-changing services to thousands of individuals annually through programs in five core focus areas: Education, Economic Development, Health & Wellbeing, Housing, and Advocacy & Leadership Development.
- The incumbent will also conduct mental health screenings, provide clinical support to alcohol and drug counselors on clients' mental health issues, promote higher levels of wellness, stability, and quality of life, assist in the prevention of acute psychiatric episodes or substance abuse relapses, and help clients to lessen the debilitating symptoms of mental illness and substance abuse.
- Retain Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Social Worker (ASW) intern number or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT)/Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences Adhere to agency and contract client confidentiality, HIPAA, and mandated reporting policies.
- Able to work with potentially homeless, justice involved, CWS involved, and mentally unstable.
- Experience in the areas of outreach, domestic violence, community education and development, advocacy, and case management.
