- The Registered Dietitian’s primary purpose is to use their clinical nutrition expertise to encourage person-centered care by counseling residents and customizing diets that focus on the resident’s preferences and nutritional needs, while following all federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.
- This position will partner with the Dining Director and Executive Chef to provide meals with nutritional value and creative appeal to residents and guests.
- Communicate issues, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to the Executive Director, Dining Director, Executive Chef, Director of Nursing, and Corporate RD. Monitor and validate nutritional systems for the community.
- Conduct kitchen, dining room, and pantry presurvey audits in preparation for the Assisted Living survey.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new products, current research, and new programs in medical nutrition therapy and foodservice, and provide ideas and recommendations to the Corporate Registered Dietitian, community Dining department, and other HumanGood Registered Dietitians.
