- Under the guidance of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, is responsible for the implementation of the nutrition care program based on established objectives, standards, policies and procedures, as well as local, state and federal regulations.
- Provides medical/clinical nutrition therapy for community resident population, including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, nutrition intervention/monitoring and nutrition education to community residents and families.
- Completes all required nutritional assessments, resident care plans and pertinent/high risk charting in resident medical records (EMR) as assigned and/or per CMS guidelines.
- Assures menu and foods provided meet regulated nutritional standards and food safety requirements per food and nutrition services regulations.
- Participates with the Dining Services team in daily meal rounds to monitor quality and accuracy of menu items with each cycle menu.
