Description We are seeking a Receptionist for our team in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry, located in WANTAGH, New York. This role involves managing the front desk area, greeting visitors, answering incoming calls, and providing administrative support to various departments as needed in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities <ul><li> Manage the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times</li><li> Greet visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and welcoming manner</li><li> Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department</li><li> Register visitors and issue visitor badges as required</li><li> Notify employees of visitor arrivals and ensure they are greeted promptly</li><li> Take messages and relay them promptly to the intended recipient</li><li> Provide administrative support to various departments as needed</li><li> Handle multiple tasks and maintain a customer-focused attitude throughout</li><li> Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently</li><li> Maintain accurate customer credit records</li><li> Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. </li></ul>Requirements <ul><li> Must have previous experience in Receptionist Duties or a similar role</li><li> Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities</li><li> Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li> Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management software</li><li> Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality</li><li> Must be punctual and reliable</li><li> Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment</li><li> Must have a customer service-oriented approach</li><li> Knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles</li><li> High School Diploma or equivalent required</li><li> Must be legally authorized to work in the country</li><li> Must have a professional appearance and demeanor</li><li> Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li> Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li> Must have knowledge of waste, refuse, and environmental waste management industry. </li></ul>Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
