- The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for the critique and performance of quality diagnostic imaging in an orthopedic setting, completing all examinations, and documentation, and accurately identifying all charges associated with studies.
- This is a part-time position in our Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic.
- The hours would be Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Current CPR certificationAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration preferredLicensure and/or certification as required by the State of North CarolinaKnowledge of anatomy and physiology is necessary to perform procedures including body mechanics and patient movement.
- Knowledge of safety hazards and contraindications for patients and all visitors within the facilitiesPrep patient for a diagnostic imaging exam.
- Produce x-ray films of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems such as cancer or fractures.
