- Reporting to the Director of Quality & Technical Services, Food Safety Manager will be part of, and have matrixed leadership from the operations team at ofi - Olde Thompson in Bayonne, New Jersey.
- They will provide day to day support to the corporate technical team and site Quality and Operations teams for measurement and management of product quality and ensuring food safety across the product portfolio manufactured at the Bayonne plant and other warehouse locations.
- They will assist in developing quality systems such Safe Quality Foods (SQF), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and provide technical expertise in Physical, Chemical and Microbiological analysis and interpretation of results.
- Lead Bayonne’s HACCP and Food Safety team for product designs, manufacturing processes, Food Safety plans, environmental monitoring and pest control programs, finished product microbiological testing programs, allergen program, and sanitation programs.
