- We invite applications for a postdoctoral research associate position at the Department of Geography, University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder), who will primarily work on a USDfunded project aiming to understand the impact of climate and environmental changes on plant health.
- The postdoc is expected to develop new machine learning-based species distribution methods to model the impact of climatic and environmental variables, and agricultural practices on the distribution of agricultural pests and diseases.
- Working remotely is possible, although the ability to work on the CU Boulder campus is preferable.
- Develop innovative spatial statistics/machine learning methods and the associated geospatial software tools to understand the distribution of agricultural pests and diseases.
