- The School of Public Policy at Northeastern University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to support the Portland, ME campus node of Community to Community (C2C), a startup initiative at Northeastern University promoting community engaged research aiming to find equitable solutions to pressing policy problems.
- The C2C team plays a key role in helping create partnerships between researchers and policymakers and practitioners (city departments, state agencies, community-based organizations, community members and coalitions) to co-create policy analysis, co-design and implement policy solutions, and iterate on program evaluation and development to move the needle on society’s most pressing policy issues.
- The Roux Institute does this work in partnership with accomplished faculty and staff, a community of graduate-level learners and startup founders, and in close collaboration with more than 160 partnering organizations.
- Candidates must possess a Ph. D. (received or expected by July 2024) in Economics, Public Policy, Sociology, Social Work or a related discipline.
- We are particularly interested in fields such as applied microeconomics (especially affordable housing, education, public health, and labor) as well as behavioral economics and rural or regional economics.
