The Associate Dean plays a key role in realizing the vision of Northeastern University Seattle and all the activities that our academic enterprise entails such that the university is positioned as a strong player and resource in the Seattle region.
Contributors will include faculty and professional research staff at The Roux Institute, faculty across the Northeastern network, and industry researchers who may be co-located at the Institute or located at their own company.
While the Academic & professional Advisor will have primary responsibilities on their assigned campus the incumbent will attend remote meetings and implement projects for specific position responsibilities and needs with Northeastern University, Boston.
At the state level, the vice president focuses primarily on the university’s interests in Massachusetts, with some additional work in other U.S. states where Northeastern maintains campuses: Maine, North Carolina, Washington, and California.
