- Summary:The Patient Services Manager oversees the food service operation for all patient care areas of the hospital, including the assembly and delivery of patient meals, snacks, supplements, and food supplies to patient care areas outside of the meal service periods.
- In collaboration with the Clinical Nutrition Manager and Executive Chef, provides input on therapeutic diet compliance, patient meal and cafeteria menu development, as well as partnering on the management of the food service software program.
- Reviews and evaluates existing operational methods and procedures of the Food and Nutrition Services program for effectiveness and efficiency to ensure compliance with all city, state and federal regulatory standards and requirements including TJC, DOH and CMS.Establishes policies and procedures that support the delivery of patient food services and effectively communicates to all stake holders.
