- As a Nutrition Education and Promotion Analyst at ARETUM, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing nutrition education and health promotion initiatives to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
- The Nutrition Education and Innovation Division (NEID), housed within the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion (CNPP), designs, leads, and implements a wide range of nutrition education, marketing, communication, and promotion projects with the goal of motivating consumers to adopt behaviors for making healthy food choices.
- Staff within the division lead and manage the development and promotion of MyPlate tools and resources uses social media platforms; email marketing; conference exhibits; marketing campaigns; events; and outreach through the MyPlate National Strategic Partners to help multiply the reach of nutrition education messages to consumers.
- Activities also include consumer research projects, particularly concept- and message-testing of central message themes and marketing concepts.
