MRI Technologist - Part Time - 21 Hours

- Job Summary: Under indirect supervision and utilizing Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment, produces diagnostic quality cross-sectional images of the brain, spinal cord, head and neck, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, large joints and other areas of the human anatomy and vasculature.
- Performs basic and advanced protocols and uses/manipulates hardware and technical parameters in order to maximize Magnetic Resonance image quality and acquire images that can be utilized by physicians in order to diagnose disease processes and pathology.
- Basic Qualifications: Experience Two (2) years clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care medical center 6 months of clinical experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist in an acute care medical center.
- Education Successful completion of an accredited educational program in radiological technology approved by the American Medical Association and the American College of Radiology as well as an on-the-job or formal training program in cross sectional anatomy and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- Preferred Qualifications: Two (2)years clinical experience as an MRI Technologist in an acute care medical center computed Tomography experience.
