- The Master Data Management (MDM) Architect is a key member of the SpartanNash IT architecture team tasked with designing technology solutions in the critical core discipline of master data management.
- The MDM Architect plays a critical role in managing the long-term technology roadmap for MDM, driving a convergence strategy for the myriad platforms that manages master data today.
- Technology is also a key component of data entry and maintenance operations, and the MDM Architect is responsible for the technology that allows the MDM team to enter, validate, reference-check, de-duplicate and audit master data effectively and efficiently.
- Develop an MDM architecture direction, bringing strategic thinking to defining the long-term MDM design such as a registry, consolidation, coexistence or transaction approach to MDM. Develop a roadmap for how the MDM architecture will evolve.
- Work closely with MDM business analysts and the MDM Center-of-Excellence to develop knowledge and understanding of how master data is used by the organization, particularly for Customer, Vendor and Material masters to identify opportunities for improvement.
