- Under general supervision, the position provides tailored retention and student success services for LGBTQIA+ students and leads the day-to-day activities of the LGBTQIA+ Center through strategic initiatives focused on academic success, well-being, inclusion, celebration, and graduation of LGBTQIA+ students.
- Two (2) years of experience working in academic advising, retention, education, student services, non-profit, community organizing, mental health or related field.
- Strong understanding of and ability to communicate the dynamics of intimate partner violence and sexual violence in LGBTQ relationships.
- Demonstrated experience working with communities who have been traditionally underserved by higher education and experience in the pedagogy reflecting intersections of race, culture, class, ethnic, and queer communities.
- Crime awareness and campus security information are available from Campus Police.
