- SUMMARYThe Lead Sommelier is responsible for assisting the Beverage Director and Food & Beverage Managers in administering the sale of beverages in outlet, lounge and banquet functions, as well as mentoring sommeliers, bartenders, servers and other associates involved in the sale of alcoholic beverages.
- Lead the wine service by working on the floor order taking, selling, servicing and ensuring proper all-around service standards
- Execute administrative duties including updating wine list menus and all beverage menus (including printing) in the point-of-sale system
- Assist the Beverage Director with the beverage program including ordering, receiving, and inventory including month-end
- Organize, maintain and restock wines in proper cabinets, coolers, cellar or storage areas
