- The primary objective of the endowment is to provide perpetual support for the mission of Mount Holyoke by serving as a reliable source of funds for the operating budget while also growing assets for the future.
- The Analyst will report to the Chief Investment Officer but will work under the close supervision of other senior investment team members as an integral part of the small generalist investment team, assisting with all functions (investment and operations) pertaining to the management of the portfolio.
- The Analyst has the opportunity to be a key member of an entrepreneurial, collaborative team and to gain wide-ranging exposure to all aspects of endowment management.
- The Analyst plays a critical supporting role as a member of the investment team, helping to manage the endowment’s assets by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data and information to support portfolio management and Investment research efforts and decisions; managing and honing the systems, processes, and tools utilized by the team to manage the portfolio and day-to-day workflow; and supporting the preparation of investment reports, memos, and investment committee materials.
- The Analyst actively participates in investment research efforts, including vetting new funds and monitoring current investment partnerships.
