- Under minimal supervision, the HVAC Controls (DDC) Service Technician conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning and general servicing of control systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems).
- With a high level of complete technical competence, mentors control technicians, service technician and mechanical technicians on building automation activities.
- Perform HVAC DDC (Direct Digital Controls) systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning and preventative maintenance as it is related to mechanical, electrical and low voltage controls components.
- Respond to control systems service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools as well as a variety of hand tools including electrical testing meters and other electronic testing equipment.
- Keep management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
