- DescriptionJob Summary: The Head of Business Development (Americas) is a senior leader within the MoneyGram for Business (MGB) division and reports to the General Manager of MGB. The incumbent will have ownership for defining and executing MGBs commercial strategy across North and Latin America, working closely with a variety of clients and partners in the FinTech, Digital Commerce, government/NGO, and Fortune 500 segments.
- Quickly develop an understanding of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for MGB. · Participate in industry events, author thought leadership pieces, drive MGB exposure in partnership with our PR and Communications team.
- Gather prospect and/or market feedback and insights, articulating and communicating this information across MoneyGram stakeholders to help inform MoneyGram’s strategy, product roadmap, commercialization efforts, etc.
- QualificationsEducation: · BA/BS degree (business, technology, economics concentrations preferred), advanced degree preferred, but not requiredExperience: · 10-15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, enterprise sales, ideally within the payments/financial services space.
- Essential Skills: · Superior knowledge in growing and managing a B2B sales pipeline, knowing what it takes to move opportunities from top-of-funnel to bottom-of-funnel.
