- The Grants Compliance Manager is responsible for researching and developing grant opportunities for the Port, monitoring grant compliance, and the administration of federal, state and local grant awards.
- The Grants Compliance Manager requires general supervision from the Assistant Controller, and requires close collaboration with the Government Affairs Manager, Chief of Planning & Development, Procurement and Contracts Manager, Real Estate Director, the Chief of Engineering, and other project managers.

- Lead the comprehensive management of grant accounting processes, from inception to closure.
- Develop clear, concise compliance procedures for staff to ensure all requirements are met; advise and assist Port departments with grant compliance requirements.
