As a Game Producer on the World of Warcraft Live Operations Team you will be the first line of defense for troubleshooting live issues impacting our players and internal outages affecting game development. You’ll collaborate with a diverse team to communicate risks, eliminate roadblocks, and facilitate seamless content releases across our broad array of World of Warcraft game versions. This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, California.
What you bring to the table:
Facilitate the operation of the Public Test Realm, oversee the generation of Release Candidate builds, and manage the deployment of patches to the live game
Ensure the continuous development of the game by keeping our QA and Vendor test environments up-to-date, removing potential roadblocks.
Cultivate an in-depth understanding of World of Warcraft as a service, minimizing team interruptions and offering guidance on technical challenges.
Act as a live service owner, proactively driving issue prevention, diagnosis, mitigation, and root cause analysis.
Plan and task infrastructure and feature improvements for a team of cross-discipline engineers and technical experts.
Provide 24/7 operational support, participating in an on-call rotation alongside fellow producers.
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of game production or equivalent project management experience
Knowledge & Skills
Detail and process oriented with strong organizational skills
Exhibits clear and concise communication skills, effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of software development processes and/or strong project management skills
Displays unyielding self-motivation and initiative in approaching tasks and overcoming obstacles.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $29.81 - $55.14 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
