Details of the position: &#x9; Work from Home&#xA0; (Must reside in the United States) &#x9; $15 an hour &#x2013; Long term contract &#x9; 3 Weeks of Paid Training &#x9; Helping others in your community connect in meaningful work &#x9; Perks and options for benefits &#x9; Video Interpreting will occur as well &#xA0; A typical day in this position might look like: &#x9; Handling telephone calls on demand in a quiet home office &#x9; Help translate Spanish/English conversations for a wide range of industries including Healthcare, Government, Insurance Financial, Travel & Hospitality and government entities &#x9; Translating Spanish/English conversations that may be simple, complex, or technical &#xA0; Ideal Candidates will be: &#x9; Fluent in both Spanish and English &#x9; Able to work a minimum of 30&#xA0;hours a week &#x9; Monday shifts are required &#x9; Manual dexterity to type or write notes &#x9; Previous experience not required &#x9; Education or work experience in teaching or translation considered an asset &#x9; Comfortable being on camera as Interpreting in video calls will be a mandatory occurrence in this position &#xA0; Remote technical requirements: &#x9; The use of your personal iPhone or Android phone &#x9; High speed Internet connection for work related electronic communication. &#x9; Dry Erase Marker Board &#x9; A dedicated workspace &#xA0; What happens next: Once you apply, your application will proceed to next steps with an interview if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
