Intern
- Bachelor’s degree, plus 2 or more years of employment counseling experience in workforce development, job training, adult education, or human services
- High school diploma plus minimum of 5 years employment counseling experience in workforce development, job training, adult education, or human services
- Experience using a creative problem-solving mindset with regard to addressing the barriers affecting vulnerable adults, including: mental health and/or substance use issues, homelessness, chronic unemployment, limited education, and housing instability
- Prior experience providing job placement services specifically to adults experiencing homelessness or adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use issues
- Collaborates with PSI program staff and clinicians to identify job opportunities and services that will help higher-need trainees obtain medical, mental health, and other services that will support trainees’ self-care and recovery from substance use disorders and mental illness.
