Assures compliance with partner standards through ongoing review, update, and training on same to minimize preventable fines or negative scorecard ratings (when applicable).This generally consists of tasks such as handling inbound/outbound documents, conducting auditing, handling relevant documents, and networking with partners. The position works closely with Sales and the warehouse. Resolves issues, prevents recurrence through longer term corrective actions when needed.Prepares shop floor / fulfillment work packages, tracks progress, resolves issues in collaboration with warehouse supervision. Coordinates with Third Party EDI and new trading partners to set up new processes and provide optimal level of customer service. Implement mapping changes and vendor profile setups in collaboration with business and EDI service provider. Assists in requirements gathering and final release to production. Develop EDI service performance metrics and report to management on periodic basics or on request. Responsible for follow-up with partners once new solutions are moved to production to ensure successful implementation. Develops and documents standards to include specific mapping rules/logic and work procedures. Fully understands, supports, and complies with information technology policies, procedures, and best practices. Must understand how to process EDI orders, maintain compliance to customer and internal standards and requirements, as well as troubleshoot, assist/monitors fulfillment activities and resolve problems:Processes EDI OrdersOrganizes received EDI data and source documents; identifies data issues and resolves by working with external and internal contacts. Approves individual orders after assuring they are error free.Enters/Imports data in alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic form into computer following established guidelines and procedures. Proof’s data entered in the ERP(NetSuite) against EDI source documents; informs manager if issues arise and makes necessary corrections.Create, edit, and send EDI Acknowledgements (855), ASN’s (856) and invoices(810) in EDI Platform (SPS) and NetSuite. Monitors status to assure timely receipt, addresses issues when noted.Generate EDI customer reports in NetSuite, download cvs files and edit excel documents.Organizes and records work completed. Maintains compliance to Customer and Internal standards and requirementsReviews and self-audit EDI customers process on a regular basis; makes corrections as needed.Follows established guidelines or staff requirements to appropriately handle of EDI source documents.Assists/Monitors fulfillment activitiesCreate BOL’s, labels and shipping documents for EDI Trading PartnersSchedule carrier’s pick-up of EDI department freight orders Responds to staff members inquiries regarding data integrated into NetSuite or EDI source documents.Communicates via email/phone daily instructions to warehouse team.Provide assistance to EDI Warehouse Team on special projects. Monitor FedEx EDI account and dispute incorrect charges.Troubleshoots and Resolves ProblemsInterfaces with appropriate staff to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.Keep accurate records for chargeback disputesMaintain open communication with EDI manager and Warehouse Department.Supervisor Responsibilities Directly supervises direct employee(s) within the department in accordance with internal policies and procedures.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business administration, computer science or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years EDI experience in consumer goods with big box retailers Proficient in ERP Systems (NetSuite highly preferred) Competency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Power point) Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
