- Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate to provide advocacy support services in support of the US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) Family Advocacy Program (FAP).
- The Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate will be responsible for all comprehensive services to include Family needs assessment, victim advocacy response, crisis intervention, safety planning, lethality assessments, restricted/unrestricted reporting, victim services, court accompaniment, resource coordination, training and other supportive services that prevent child maltreatment.
- Support services include but are not limited to: arranging transportation during crisis; providing physical, emotional, and educational support while the victim engages medical, legal, and law enforcement systems; assisting in securing protective orders; providing referrals to obtain appropriate services for continued care; assisting to secure emergency food and/or shelter; conducting risk assessments, navigating the system to obtain required services; and other benefits.
- Conduct education classes, initial intake, community linkages, crisis intervention, safety plans, case management, including office visits.
- Operate within established guidelines of the FAP and Domestic Abuse Victim Advocacy Program (DAVAP).
