The Victim Advocate will act as the liaison with relevant police departments, prosecutor’s office, community partners, and agency organizations. Provide direct service to crime victims and their families, including but not limited to short-term trauma informed crisis intervention, emotional support which includes telephone and face-to-face contact, assist clients with safety planning and lethality assessment, provide in-person Personal Protection Order (PPO) assistance, provide emergency shelter referrals, assist with victim impact statement guidance, and connect to community resources.
