- Preparation and cooking of food according the Food Service Administrator/Manager or the DJS menus using standardized recipes and production sheets while adhering to food safety/sanitation requirements established by HACCP- based standard operating procedures.
- Train and lead Food Service workers, Youth Center Cooks IT and I. Monthly reports to the Food Service \Administrator/Manager as required.
- Experience: Two years of experience supervising youth in the preparation and serving of meals in a juvenile facility or juvenile services community program for at-risk youth.
- In accordance with the Correctional Services Article, Section 8-209 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the Maryland Correctional Training Commission shall establish the minimum qualifications for probationary or permanent appointment of a Department of Juvenile Services employee.
- This list will be used by DJS hiring agency to select employees.
