- The CNO is an inspirational mission-driven leader who possesses the organizational and political skills to successfully lead the transformation of nursing and interdisciplinary care delivery across all settings of care within the North Division.
- The CNO is an exemplary role model of the highest professional nursing standards and conduct, is the “voice” and advocate for nursing and interdisciplinary care strategy and operational initiatives and performs all duties in a manner that reflects the Providence mission and values.
- The CNO establishes and communicates a vision and direction for patient-centered and evidence-based care delivery in an integrated and team-based context.
- In partnership with the Executive and Operations Leadership Team, the CNO leads in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the quality of clinical care across the full clinical care continuum.
- The position is responsible for driving a service-oriented culture focused on superior patient experience, employee engagement, quality, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
