- Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Special Events and Stewardship, the Director of Special Events develops and implements strategic plans to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward gifts from event donors and volunteers.
- This person will identify and cultivate new high level prospects by building and stewarding relationships via the signature fundraising event portfolio consisting of the Children's Ball, Race for Every Child 5K Run/Walk, White Hat Gala, and the growing community-based events program.
- He/she works with Children's Hospital Foundation leadership to engage high level support including sponsorship recruitment, on-site fundraising and donor participation, as well as engagement with the portfolio of cultivation and stewardship events.

- Execute tactics required to manage and grow a portfolio of signature events and community based events ensuring a high level of donor satisfaction and increased giving.
