- The Director of Sales is responsible for directing the hotel sales team in achieving the rooms, food and beverage revenue goals as laid out in the hotel Marketing Plan as well as taking responsibility for all rooms sales, solicitation of new business and implementing sales plans to support the overall strategy.
- Provide feedback and market information to General Manager and Regional Director of Sales on changing market conditions, including trends on the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone, reading material and interaction with competitive hotel staff
- Work in conjunction with the Director of Revenue and Regional Director of Sales to ensure accurate forecasting is completed monthly
- Work in conjunction with the Director of Finance and the General Manager to develop and present the annual budget
- Must have a minimum 3 or more years experience in hospitality sales at a Director of Sales or Associate Director of Sales level to be considered.
