Job Description And ResponsibilitiesVisa is seeking a Director to lead our team of network and application monitoring specialists. This role involves providing leadership and mentorship with a focus on high performance and engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of Corporate IT managed network and application services.The CIT Network and Apps Monitoring Director will establish methodologies for issue prevention and expedited problem resolution methodologies with focus on the Proactive and Fix Fast outcomes. This role will support a global, 24x7, high-volume, high-availability, critical production environment, using metrics-based KPIs. Other key areas include leading the annual goal planning, establishing key metrics, and reporting using OKRs. Additionally, the Director will lead incident and/or crisis events for Corporate Major Incidents and engage with vendors/partners to represent operational needs. They will oversee the continuous and secure operation, administration, and maintenance of the corporate networking infrastructure. This includes partnering with Risk Management, Identity/Access Management, Information Security and Privacy, and Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans. Finally, they will collaborate with other teams running systems and applications to enhance efficiency and improvements in network support/management, process enhancement, and new technology implementation.
