- The Director will advocate on Capitol Hill, in the Executive Branch, and within the policy community, providing guidance and support services to both the economic and housing programming staff and the affiliate movement.
- Collaborate with the Washington Bureau team to develop advocacy strategies that promote NUL’s financial services, economic development, and housing policies.
- Assist in crafting legislative language, comments on administrative rules, and policy statements.
- Master’s degree in public policy, social work, political science, or related field required; Doctorate or JD preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of five years of relevant legislative affairs experience in a small to mid-sized organization; Capitol Hill experience preferred.
