- Description POSITION SUMMARYThe Lead Dietary Aide performs the duties of the Dietary Aide to provide wholesome, appetizing food presented in a pleasing manner in any setting i.e., catering, cafeteria or patient care.
- Regularly participates in the kitchen clean-up and dishwashing responsibilities and adheres to proper sanitation and safety practices at all times.
- In addition, this position provides assistance to the Director and Supervisor of Food Services in the evenings or as needed, including employee training, and supervision, operations oversight, regulatory requirement monitoring, staff coverage, performance evaluations and the disciplinary process if necessary.
- This position acts as a resource to the Food Service staff and has direct involvement in department operations, ensuring overall positive organizational outcomes.
- Knowledge:Minimum of one year food service experience, preferably in a hospital or nursing facility required.
