- The Distribution Center Director of Safety’s primary responsibility is to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs to ensure the well-being of employees and the prevention of accidents, injuries, and occupational hazards across Webstaurantstore’s network of facilities.
- This is done by working closely with the Corporate Safety team and Distribution Center Management to enforce safety standards, compliance with regulations, and promoting a safety-conscious culture.
- Collaborate with Corporate Safety, Employee Experience, DC Management, and DC Director of Training and Development to create and implement safety training programs for warehouse personnel at all levels
- Incident Investigation and Reporting
- Ensure Webstaurantstore has a clearly defined program with specific protocols for investigations into accidents, near misses, and other safety-related incents
