- The Custody and Resource Coordinator (CRC) assists ERO Field Office and detention facility staff in maintaining a safe detention environment.
- The CRC also provides services and support to individuals on issues that commonly affect the ICE detained population and ICE mission such as responsive support to victims, trauma, sexual abuse and assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, and medical and mental health care.
- Areas of facilitation include but are not limited to the following topic areas: allegations of sexual abuse and assault, identification and monitoring of pregnant noncitizens, resources for noncitizens in segregated housing or special management units, and admission and release.
- Develop and maintain a national resource database of resources (in and outside of the United States) for CRC and ERO Officer use to facilitate the release and removal of noncitizens booked out of ICE custody.
- The Department of Homeland Security’s Personnel Security Unit (PSU) must render an Initial Preliminary Favorable Fitness Determination to be considered a qualified candidate.
