- The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Projects Manager under the Carl D. Perkins Basic Grant streamlines continuous improvement and data accessibility with staff across the College in support of Career and Technical Education initiatives, as the Project Lead and Financial Manager for this institutional annual allocation.
- Serves as the primary point of contact (Project Lead and Financial Manager) for the Perkins Basic Grant for South Texas College with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and organizes connections and content with staff across the College in support of CTE initiatives.
- Responsible for the programmatic and financial management for the Perkins Basic Grant and supports RDMC with other CTE grants activities regarding the connection of CTE pathway initiatives.
- Works collaboratively with personnel within the Divisions of Finance and Administrative Services, Information Services, Planning, Performance and Strategic Initiatives, Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs to ensure planning is continuous, expenses are allowable, allocable, reasonable and necessary, special populations needs are addressed and key elements of the CLNA, Perkins Core Indicators and the College’s Key Performance Indicators are positively impacted.
- Monitors the programmatic compliance of the Carl D. Perkins Basic Grant by reviewing and following-up on the strategies and activities in the approved grant application with CTE department administrators and Perkins liaisons.
