- To perform all activities related to hot food preparation of meals for patients, cafeteria patrons and catered functions, constantly striving to improve the quality of products prepared and served.
- Prepares meals for patients (400+ per day), cafeteria patrons (800+ per day) and assist with the food production for catered functions as necessary.
- Typically, performs fast food cooking duties in preparing food items to be served to customers.
- Equipment includes-tilt fryer steamers, steam kettles, ovens, warmers, mixers, slicer, buffalo chopper, food processor, fryers, grill and knives.
- Reads food order or receives verbal instructions on food required by patron, and prepares and cooks food according to instructions.
